Tricia Brown, Co-Founder
M.S., CCC-SLP, P.C., TSHH
Tricia Brown, M.S., CCC-SLP, P.C., TSHH is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, and a licensed and registered Speech Pathologist in New York. She received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology degree from SUNY College at Buffalo, and holds a Master of Science in Speech Pathology from SUNY at Fredonia. Tricia is a PROMPT Certified clinician with over 20 years of experience in the field. She began her career working at United Cerebral Palsy Association in Buffalo. Past experience has included working with Preschool through High School aged students in the Seattle School District, as well as providing services through Early Intervention in New York.
For the past several years she has worked with toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children. Areas of interest include treatment of apraxia, articulation delays and disorders, receptive and expressive language delays/disorders, as well as social language impairments.

Julie Silberman, Co-Founder

Julie Silberman, M.S., CCC-SLP, P.C. is a Speech Language Pathologist who is licensed and registered to practice in New York State. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Hunter College. Julie acquired her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at Arizona State University. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Julie is PROMPT Certified and has been using this dynamic approach with her clients since 2005.
Past experience includes providing therapy and evaluations through Early Intervention. While working with children 0-5 years of age, she supervised graduate students. Julie has worked with school-aged children in Charter and private schools. She currently provides private consultations and treatment for toddlers and school-aged children with apraxia, motor- speech disorders, language delays and disorders, social language impairments, and articulation delays and disorders.

Jackie Dolson-Shewchuk, Co-Founder

Jackie Dolson-Shewchuk MSLP, CCC-SLP, P.C. is a PROMPT Certified practitioner in New York City. Jackie has been a PROMPT instructor since 2001 and has taught both the introductory and advanced courses to speech language pathologists throughout the world. Her scope of practice is largely with children diagnosed with motor speech disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders. She also provides outreach services to multidisciplinary & ABA teams as well as school boards. Jackie has worked within early intervention, pre-school, school and hospital settings. Jackie received both her undergraduate and graduate training in Canada and is a member of CASLPA and ASHA.
Erica Sander, Clinician

Erica Sander, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD, is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in New York City with over a decade of experience across multiple clinical settings including schools, early intervention (EI), and home-base therapy. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and received a New York State license as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). Erica has worked with the NYC Department of Education (DOE) for nine years and her work has afforded her the opportunity to work with children diagnosed with a variety of speech and language disorders.
Ericas main goal is to help children communicate more effectively with their world and optimize their personal growth and development. Through training in the Floortime model, Erica prides herself as a relationship-based therapist and emphasizes the importance of engagement, attention, and motivation in all of her sessions. She has successfully completely PROMPT Advanced Bridging under the tutelage of Chatterbox's very own Jackie Dolson-Shewchuk and has been trained through the IAOM in treating Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders. These trainings have enabled Erica to work effectively with speech sounds disorders, feeding concerns, and oral-motor development deficits.
Sara Nebel, Clinician

Sara Nebel, M.S., CFY-SLP, is a Speech Language Pathologist in New York City. She is PROMPT trained and a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Sara earned her Master's degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University, and graduated summa cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University. Sara also holds a law degree from Brooklyn Law School, and prior to becoming a Speech Language Pathologist, she practiced law as a medical malpractice attorney at a large New York City law firm. Sara has experience working as an SLP with children of all ages with a range of communicative disorders, and works to incorporate each childs individual strengths and interests into every treatment session to maximize success and potential.
Anna Chase, Clinician
M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD
Anna Chase M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD, is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in New York City. She received her Master of Science in Speech Pathology from Hunter College in 2004. She completed her Bachelor degree in communication from Rutgers University. Anna has over 15 years of experience evaluating and treating children. She has worked with an extensive variety of disorders through the Early Intervention program, the NYC Board of Education CPSE program, and privately in both home and school settings. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and received a New York State license as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). She has completed PROMPT Advanced Bridging and has been using PROMPT in practice for over 10 years. Anna has experience with pragmatic language delays, receptive and expressive language delays, sensory delays, voice disorders, cleft palate, medically fragile children (g-tube and tracheostomy tube), and chromosomal, neurological, and brain disorders. She has specialized in working specifically in oral motor developmental deficits, feeding, and speech motor/neuromuscular delays with children aged 0-7. Anna is (bilingual Greek/ of Greek decent) and has evaluated and treated children who are exposed to the Greek language in the home.
Chelsea Wertheim, Clinician

Chelsea Wertheim MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a New York State licensed Speech Language Pathologist and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is certified as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). Chelsea earned her bachelors and masters degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She has completed PROMPT- Bridging and is trained in Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Ayres Sensory Integration, and the Social Thinking Curriculum. Chelsea is a passionate and dedicated neurodiversity-affirming therapist who has sought out a wide variety of experiences with children of all ages and abilities. She has provided individual and group therapy to clients with a range of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, articulation/phonological disorders, motor speech disorders, executive functioning/attention difficulties, and genetic syndromes. By incorporating each childs unique interests, Chelsea motivates her clients to achieve speech, language and feeding goals in a fun and natural environment. Chelsea is an advocate for the clients and families that she works with, and works diligently to ensure that her clients are given every opportunity to achieve their potential.
Sarah Berman, Practice Manager

Sarah Berman, M.S., specializes in project management and administration, and she handles all of the non-clinical aspects of ChatterboxNYC. Sarah earned her Master of Science in Urban Policy Analysis & Management from The New School and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American University. Previously, Sarah worked as an Investigator for the Federal Public Defender of Washington, DC. Her background includes extensive experience across public, private, non-profit, and governmental sectors.
